Hey There,

National Aboriginal Day at Trout Lake is a community-based, full day of events that showcases and celebrates the diversity of Aboriginal people from across Canada. First Nations, Metis and Inuit people gather to share their spirit, experiences, stories, songs, art and dance with each other and the community. Come out with Green Chair Recycling as we celebrate National Aboriginal Day and help make this exciting and inspiring event ZERO WASTE!

Together we can make an impact! No experience is necessary and a variety of shifts are available. Do one of the days or multiple days! All equipment as well as refreshments will be provided.

Our Recycling Volunteers attend community events, educate attendees on proper recycling techniques, and show how easy and beneficial recycling and environmental initiatives can be. This is a hands-on position that is open to all ages and abilities; an eye-opening chance to see the change we can all make. Read more about other volunteer positions and opportunities.
