Hey There,

Golden Spike Days is one of BC’s longer running family events. Held at Rocky Point Park this event boasts live entertainment, special events, and activites for all ages. This event commemorates the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway line and its arrival at the original western terminus in Port Moody where the LAST SPIKE was driven. Come join Green Chair Recycling in greening the 41st annual Golden Spike Days, which promises to be extra special to Celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary! We couldn’t green it without you!

Together we can make an impact! No experience is necessary and a variety of shifts are available. Do one of the days or multiple days! All equipment as well as refreshments will be provided.

Our Recycling Volunteers attend community events, educate attendees on proper recycling techniques, and show how easy and beneficial recycling and environmental initiatives can be. This is a hands-on position that is open to all ages and abilities; an eye-opening chance to see the change we can all make. Read more about other volunteer positions and opportunities.
